Our Ministries

We are committed to helping individuals and
families in need. We offer assistance with food boxes, bread, gas and electric shut-off notices, eviction notices and first month’s rent, clothing, furniture, vision assistance, Christmas Assistance and Toys and give referrals to other agencies for specific needs we are not able to meet. The amount of assistance available is dependent upon the availability and support of financial resources and community Support. Our goal is to be a stepping-stone to independence.

Our Social Services Office hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday

Food Bank

Through community support we are able to provide food boxes to families and individuals in need. These boxes are not intended to be the primary source for food, instead they provide assistance with some of the basic food needs. Food bags are made for the homeless, which contain foods that do not require can-openers, a stove, etc…

Miscellaneous Services

Furniture, clothing, medication assistance, and greyhound bus tickets are services provided when funds and resources are available.

Vision Assistance

Through collaborative efforts with the participating optometrists associated with Vision USA this program provides assistance to those individuals/families in need of eye exams and prescription glasses.

Utility Assistance

This program provides assistance to those individuals who have had a recent emergency which has caused them to receive a shut-off notice for either their electric or gas service.
